Showcasing the multimedia program

Objective

For this project, I created a 1-2 minute promotional video showcasing the Multimedia Program. The video is designed to engage both potential students and future employers, highlighting the dynamic and creative aspects of the program. It must feature a fast-paced, visually stimulating presentation with smooth transitions, class-provided footage, explanatory text, and a consistent color scheme. The sound design must include impactful effects and a vibrant background track, all contributing to an engaging and professional advertisement. 

Development

I began the project by creating a mood board to explore the key ideas I wanted to incorporate into the video and its overall flow. Once I had a clear direction, I collaborated with my colleagues to start filming, experimenting with various camera angles and transitions from close-ups to wide shots. With all the new footage collected, I moved on to editing in Premiere Pro, focusing on syncing the video with the music for a dynamic feel. After that, I applied color correction to ensure consistency across different shots. Finally, I used After Effects to enhance the intro and outro with visual effects.
